Bhabhi Thulla King Game Privacy Policy
Bhabhi Thulla King Privacy Policy
Bhabhi Thulla King ("the game") is a card game made by an independent developer ("we", "us"). This page explains what information the game handles, where it goes and what you can do about it. If anything here is unclear, write to connectionlabapps@gmail.com.
The short version
- You play against computer players on your phone. There is no online play, no account and no sign-in.
- Your nickname, coins, avatars, progress and match history are stored on your phone. We never receive them.
- The game contains ads, served by Google AdMob. To show and measure ads, Google may use your device's advertising ID, your IP address and other device information. You can limit this in your phone's settings (section 2).
- The game uses Google Firebase to send us crash reports and usage statistics. That data is linked to random IDs, not to your name or email.
- Purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We never see your payment details.
- We do not sell your data.
1. What we collect, and why
Information leaves your phone because of the game only to Google: to Google Firebase (crash reports, usage statistics and settings, this section) and to Google AdMob (ads, section 2). For Firebase, Google processes the data for us as our service provider, under the Firebase Data Processing and Security Terms. Everything is sent over encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS).
Firebase Crashlytics (crash reports)
If the game crashes or hits a serious error, Crashlytics sends a report so we can find and fix the problem. A report contains:
- the technical details of the error (a stack trace) and the state of the app at the time;
- device details: model, manufacturer, Android version, memory and storage state, screen orientation, and whether the device is rooted;
- the app version, and a random Crashlytics installation ID used to count how many players a crash affects;
- a short log of recent in-game events recorded by Firebase Analytics (see below), which helps us see what led up to the crash;
- two details of the match being played: its shuffle number (the "seed") and how many seats the table has, so we can replay the same deal and find the bug.
Crash reports do not contain your nickname, your contacts, your files or anything you type.
Firebase Analytics (usage statistics)
Analytics tells us how the game is used, so we can see which parts work and which confuse people. It collects:
- events the game records, such as finishing a match (whether you got away and how many coins the table moved), receiving a free coin top-up, and starting a coin purchase;
- events Firebase records automatically, such as first opening the app, sessions, screens viewed, app updates, and in-app purchases (product, price and currency);
- device and app details: device model, Android version, language, app version, and your country and approximate region, which Google works out from your device's IP address;
- identifiers: a random app-instance ID that Firebase creates for this installation and, where your phone allows it, your device's advertising ID.
We look at this data as statistics across many players. We do not attach it to your name, and we do not use it to build a profile of you.
Firebase Remote Config and Firebase Installations
The game asks Firebase for a small set of settings, for example how many rewarded ads can be watched in a day, so we can adjust some behaviour without publishing an update. To do that, Firebase receives a random Firebase installation ID and basic details: country and language code, time zone, Android version, the app's ID and the SDK version.
2. Ads (Google AdMob)
The game shows ads served by Google AdMob, Google's mobile ad network:
- rewarded video ads that you choose to watch, in exchange for free coins;
- full-screen ads that may appear between matches.
There is never an ad on the card table while you are playing a hand.
To show ads, Google AdMob collects information from your phone, which may include:
- your device's advertising ID (or, if that is not available, an app set ID);
- your IP address, which is also used to estimate your general location (for example country or city);
- device and app details, such as device model, Android version, language, screen size and the app's name and version;
- how you interact with ads: which ads were shown, whether you tapped them, and whether you watched a rewarded video to the end;
- diagnostic and performance information about ad loading.
Google uses this information to deliver ads, limit how often you see the same ad, measure how ads perform, prevent fraud and abuse and, where allowed, personalise the ads you see. Google acts under its own privacy policy for this data. See how Google uses information for advertising and how Google uses data from apps that use its services.
Your choices about ads
- Personalised ads: in your phone's settings (usually Settings → Google → Ads, or Settings → Privacy → Ads) you can delete or reset your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads. Ads will then be based on the game and general context, not on your interests.
- Where the law requires your consent for personalised ads or for storing information on your phone for ads (for example in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland), the game will ask for it, using Google's consent tools, before such ads are shown.
- Rewarded ads are optional. You never have to watch one; free coins also come from the shop's free claim and from the top-up when your balance runs low.
We do not receive your advertising ID or any information that identifies you from AdMob. We see only totals, such as how many ads were shown.
3. Purchases
You can buy optional coin packs. The purchase is made and paid for entirely through Google Play. We never receive your name, email address, card number or billing address; Google Play handles those under its own terms and the Google privacy policy.
After a purchase, Google Play gives the game a purchase receipt (the product, an order number, a purchase token, the time and a digital signature). The game checks the signature on your phone to confirm the receipt is genuine, adds the coins, and keeps the purchase token on your phone so that the same purchase is never credited twice. That receipt is not sent to us. As described above, Firebase Analytics records that a purchase happened, with its product, price and currency.
Coins are play money. They have no cash value and cannot be withdrawn, redeemed, exchanged or transferred to other players.
4. What stays on your phone
The following is stored only in the game's private storage on your phone. We never receive it:
- the nickname you choose and the avatar you pick;
- your coin balance, the avatars you own, your level, badges and statistics;
- your match history and the game in progress (the card shuffle and the moves played);
- your settings (language, sound, music, haptics, theme, card speed and so on);
- the purchase tokens described in section 3;
- small notes the game keeps for itself, such as when you last claimed free coins, how many rewarded ads you watched today, which tips you have seen and when it last asked you to rate the game.
The game does not ask for access to your location, contacts, camera, microphone, photos or files.
Ratings and reviews
After you have played for a while, the game may ask whether you would like to rate it. If you say yes, it opens the game's page in the Google Play Store. Anything you write there goes to Google Play under Google's terms; the game is not told whether you rated it or what you wrote. It only remembers on your phone that it asked, so it does not keep asking.
5. Android backup
The game allows Android's built-in backup. If backup is turned on for your phone, Android may copy the game's on-device data (section 4) to your own Google account backup, so your progress can come back when you move to a new phone. This backup is controlled by you in Android's settings and is kept by Google under your Google account; we cannot see or access it. You can turn backup off in your phone's settings.
6. What we do not do
- No accounts and no sign-in. We do not ask for your name, email address or phone number.
- No online play, chat or messaging. Every opponent is a computer player on your phone.
- We do not sell personal data. We share data only with Google, as our service provider for Firebase and as the ad network for AdMob, as described above, or where the law requires it.
7. Children
The game is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used the game and you want any data linked to that device removed, email us and we will help as described in section 9.
8. How long data is kept
| Data | Kept for |
|---|---|
| Crashlytics crash reports and their identifiers | 90 days, then deleted by Google |
| Google Analytics event-level data | 2 months (the retention setting we use), then deleted. Reports with totals and no identifiers may be kept longer. |
| Firebase installation IDs (Remote Config) | Until the ID is deleted; after a deletion request, removed from Google's systems within 180 days |
| Ad data collected by Google AdMob | As set out in Google's policies: policies.google.com/technologies/retention |
| Data on your phone | Until you use Profile → Reset progress, clear the app's data, or uninstall the game |
9. Your choices and deleting data
- On your phone: Profile → Reset progress clears your coins, avatars, badges and match history. Uninstalling the game, or clearing its data in Android settings, deletes everything the game stored on the phone.
- Ads: reset or delete your advertising ID, or opt out of personalised ads, in your phone's settings (section 2).
- Starting fresh: uninstalling and reinstalling creates new random IDs, so new data is not linked to the old.
- Asking us to delete crash and usage data: email connectionlabapps@gmail.com with the subject "Delete my data". Because this data is linked only to random IDs and not to your name or email, tell us anything that helps us find it: your phone model, roughly when you installed the game, and the date and time of any crash. We will delete whatever we can link to you, using Google's deletion tools, and reply within 30 days. If we cannot find any data linked to you, we will tell you. Data we cannot find is still deleted automatically after the periods in section 8. Ad data is held by Google; you can manage it at myadcenter.google.com and in your phone's settings.
Depending on where you live, you may have legal rights to access, correct or delete personal data, or to object to how it is used. Email us to use them. We rely on our legitimate interest in keeping the game stable and improving it to process crash and usage data, and on your consent where the law requires it for personalised ads.
10. Security
Data sent to Google travels over encrypted connections. Data on your phone is kept in the game's private storage, which other apps cannot read. We run no servers of our own for this version of the game, so there is no database of players for anyone to break into.
11. Changes to this policy
If the game starts handling data differently, for example by adding online play or accounts, we will update this page before that version is released and change the effective date at the top. Significant changes will also be mentioned in the game's release notes on Google Play.
12. Contact
Questions, requests or complaints about privacy: connectionlabapps@gmail.com. We aim to reply within 30 days.
